I’m not really one to put all that much emphasis on exclusive channels produced internally by satellite companies. I’d much rather make a final Dish Network vs Direct TV decision based on things like sports, movies or HD. But I got a look at some of the offerings from Direct TV’s channel 101 the other day and have to say I was pretty impressed. It’s not like it would sway my decision definitively one way or the other, but it is a check in the Direct TV column, that’s for sure.

Surfing is one of the greatest sports in the world. In fact, surfing is not only fun, it’s also a great workout.
Granted, surfing takes a while to learn. However, even the learning process is fun and provides great exercise. Before you learn how to surf, make sure you know how to swim and that you are comfortable in the ocean.
It helps to take a lesson if you’ve never surfed before. Going with someone who knows the rhythms of the ocean will help give you a head start.
If you’re serious about learning how to surf, you’ll eventually want to get your own board. While foam boards are great for learning, I would advise against buying one (unless you have a lot of money to burn). Once you catch a few waves you’ll be wanting to graduate to a fiberglass or epoxy version (aka the "real thing.")

Before installing your bamboo flooring, a very important set of bamboo flooring tips involves allowing your flooring materials and adequate amount of time to acclimate to their surrounding environment. Every house — indeed every room in the house — has a different temperature and humidity range. For example, if your house/floor has a very low, dry humidity, over time your bamboo flooring will contract somewhat as it dries out — on the other hand, it will expand in the presence of humidity. So allow your bamboo flooring material to sit out for a few weeks in the area where it will eventually be installed, in order to adjust to its new surroundings.
