Why Franchises Work

Franchising is a model that has seen companies such as McDonalds and Kentucky Fried Chicken able to grow at a huge rate. With the right system and marketing companies are able to expand very quickly - and the more stores they have the greater the exposure they can give their brand. People actually do look for a McDonalds when they are on a trip to another city because they know exactly what they will get there. Another factor in the success of companies that operate a franchise is you very rarely see a franchise store go out of business.  The company has already done the research and what works and what doesn’t, so the new chain restaurant franchise is operating on a proven business plan.

The beautiful beaches of Barcelona

When we were planning our vacation to Barcelona last summer all I could think about was which beaches should we go to? I knew their were a lot of beaches so I think I was feeling a bit overwhelmed. After coming back from our trip all i can say is…the beaches of Barcelona! They were spectacular in every way. Some were more touristy then others but the local people gave us great information as to the uncrowded beaches as well as great places to eat and things to see. I loved our trip so much that I would like to go back next year!

Splotches

I had never had a yeast infection before and I had no idea what the symptoms of yeast infection looked like or felt like. My daughter was 11 months old before she had her first one and I just thought it was a dumb rash. I applied the usually cremes for diaper rash but it was not going away. When I finally took her in to see a doctor he did not take but a second to say it was a classic case of a yeast infection. Now I at least know what to be looking for next time I see a rash in that area and I can decide if it is a diaper rash or yeast infection.

Flooring

I do not know anything about flooring. I accidentally have been in charge of finding a solution to our cracked flooring in the office and I have no idea where to start looking? Do I strictly look for commercial grade and quality floors or can I look for a quality that would seem more plush and probably more expensive? Will the more expensive solution be a better choice with our heavy traffic? Where do I begin my search and start educating myself on floors? The first place I looked on the internet directed me towards epoxy resin flooring what can I compare this with?
