Many companies today are requiring their workers to put in more and more hours each week. However, they are quickly realizing that this is becoming quite expensive. With the continued rise in minimum wage, everyone feels their hourly wage should go up, and with more hours each week, more money is needed to pay these workers. In many cases, it is cheaper for the company to offer workers salaried positions. That way, they can require them to work as many hours as they want without paying overtime. This is true for entry level positions as well as 6K jobs. Unfortunately, once a person is salaried, especially if there are 6 zeros in the figure, the company knows they can pretty much ask anything of the employee.

My company is relocating me (and my family) to VA in a few months. We have started searching for a new home online, but we will probably need to get a home loan in order to buy a house there. I am wondering if it is possible to get an online VA home loan, does anyone know of a mortgage provider that offers these? It would make it easier since we are trying to do as much as possible long distance, and then just take a trip near our move time to finalize any details of the house purchase, and we hope to close right before we move.
