Spain: Fuerteventura Island

If you’re looking for cheap hotels in Spain and you wish to experience just a little bit of luxury while still adhering to a budget, you may wish to consider staying somewhere like Fuerteventura Island. There you can find a three-star hotel that offers fine dining on premises, a sauna, a pool, and more, all for under $50 a night. Fuerteventura Island is one of Spain’s Canary Islands in the Atlantic Ocean. Fuerteventura Island is an ideal location for a Spanish beach vacation to get away and play. This windy beach is the place to go for both surfing the waves and windsurfing. For those who prefer to go beneath the waves, scuba divers can find marlin, turtles, dolphins and whales.

Spray Pepper: Personal Safety or Fashion Statement ?

I have to write an article on the use of personal safety equipment and it’s role in a “civilized ” society. I have known personal violence myself and I know the allure and the illusion of safety promised if you only carry such a personal safety device.
I won’t deny the potential benefit for carrying a substance such as pepper spray. They come in small containers and fit neatly into a pocket or purse. What troubles me is the shift in presentation from personal safety device to fashionable, personal safety device. Have you noticed this as well? Take a look sometime at any of the manufacturer’s on-line catalogs. There are the leather encased sprays, the hard metal encased sprays, the sprays that also dye the assailant and mark them for police “pick-up”. Check the color out !
Somehow….it just seems like yet another opportunity to capitalize on others’ fears but making a distasteful item more appealing to use. I wonder if it doesn’t diminish respect for our own protection and safety.

Enticing Frequent Flyer Redemption

Life is hard these days, it is quite difficult to get by.  The price of oil has not stabilize, it is constanly increasing its price every week.  That is why we should get something in return anywhere we spent our money on.  One best example is the Frequent Flyer Redemption.  Airline companies came up with this kind of program to entice people to travel more frequently.  They also recognize the need of giving something in return to let travelers feel their money’s worth.  Well, it’s not a new thing anyway.  Actually, it is a common program to temp people to shop more, travel more, use their credit cards more, by giving equivalent points on your purchases.  Wherein accumulated points can be exchanged for gadgets, appliance or raffle tickets.

Do I need this?

I have never really been that worried about identity theft before, and since it has never happened to anyone I know I am not sure whether I really need to be. I pay attention to my credit card statements and credit reports, so if anything weird turns up I can deal with it right away. What added benefit would Lifelock give me? What would they do that I can’t do for myself? Can anyone tell me where I can find some Lifelock reviews to see what their customers really think of them? Maybe they will convince me that it is a worthwhile service.
