Suprisingly, "The Dark Knight" still continues to rule the 2008 summer season for Movies. It has now made $400 faster than any movie in history. The movie has been successful for a number of reasons, not the least of which is the death of one of its stars, the late Heath Ledger. In the movie he gives an excellent performance, and Oscar buzz has already begun. Sadly, he has two things working against him. First, Batman is considered by the Academy to be a "popcorn movie". Secondly, very rarely has the Academy ever awarded an Oscar to a star posthumusly, ignoring some fantastic performances by well known stars such as Cary Grant.

I have tried so many products in the past to try and become fitter. I’ve bought multi gyms, treadmills, ab machines but I can never motivate myself enough to use them every day. I know this is my own downfall but I’m always looking for shortcuts to help me lose weight without having to do all those exercises! I spent hours the other day looking for the Truth About Six Pack Abs review pages to see if the guide would be worth the money. I haven’t purchased it yet but the reviews all look quite good and say very positive things. I know I won’t be able to resist it!

You’ve seen it in movies: A girl walks through an isolated parking garage. Suddenly, an evil-looking guy jumps out from behind an SUV. Girl jabs bad guy in the eyes with her keys - or maybe she pulls out her lipstick pepper spray. Either way, while he’s squirming, she leaps into her car and speeds to safety. That’s the movies. Here’s the real-life action replay: When the girl goes to jab or kick the guy, he knows what’s coming and grabs her arm (or leg), pulling her off balance. Enraged by her attempt to fight back, he flips her onto the ground. Now she’s in a bad place to defend herself - and she can’t run away.
