At the end of an extremely busy day busing children around, taking care of the husband and of course the animals, where sometimes I feel like the fish are demanding something of me, I envy the quiet life. I have asked for my next vacation or weekend alone be out to Amish country with just me and my husband. I have a strange admiration for people who can live without all the things that make my life so hectic. I have seen that the Berlin Ohio Hotels even offer a package deal where you can have a meal in an Amish family’s home. I would love to see that first hand.

Best time to go. One of the nicest things about Phu Quoc is that is has an incredible all-year round climate. If you want to sail a sailboat, you want to enjoy the best seasons so by going there on an adventure vacation for trekking or sailing on a sailboat from November to May (west coast) or May to September (east coast). Some places offer the best of facilities in beautiful surroundings and this is one of those. The places is great for all types of outdoor activities, so long as you avoid going there during the October rainy season which might spoil your trip.

My uncle has this old barn in the country that has stood for what seems an eternity, or at least my short lifetime.
One day he calls up my dad to ask him if he and his boys would want to help him build a new fence.
Now being the hands-on kind of guy my dad is he quickly volunteered his time and ours to the project. I didn’t mind. I like working with hammers, nails, and wood.
When we got there, all the wood fence supplies were laid out in organized fashion ready for all of us to get to work.

I was out playing a round of golf the other day with some friends. I love the game. So relaxing. I love being outside. It was a perfect fall day. Nice and cool. Just beautiful. I was playing really good too. The stars were in alignment for me or something that day. I played with a simple swing. Kept my head down, and eye on the ball. Everything was going right. I shot a 35 on the front nine. That was my best round yet. I just let the ball do the work. I finished in the 70′s. Best game ever!
