Robert and I have known each other since college. We took the same course of architecture and we were normally seatmates back then. We didn’t click right away though. On the contrary, I disliked his boyish personality because I felt he was just hitting girls to bed them or something. I was proved wrong later of course. Now, we are getting married. Robert will buy me a pair or two of bridal pearls. I told him I like the black ones because they are more elegant and classic. Pearl is my favorite of all gems, by the way. The problem is that there are no black bridal pearls in the store where we first checked. I guess Robert will have to start looking from online stores.

I’m not sure what it is about weddings, but I like them. Every one I’ve attended has been a joy.
I love seeing two people professing their faithfulness to each other, dedicating their lives to each other, and making a life-long covenant to honor and obey their vows.
Marriage is how life was meant to be for a man and a woman.
I guess I’ve answered my own question why I enjoy weddings.
A few months ago, our family was invited to the wedding celebration of a long-time family friend.
The ceremony was beautiful with peaceful flowers and matching wedding string lights enveloping the reception in a warm glow.
I like weddings.

It may seem strange for a couple from New York to settle down in Huntsville, Alabama; but my husband and I actually looked around quite a bit when we decided where to raise our family.
Before we married, we looked at employment, housing, and lifestyles in cities from San Francisco to New York City. And, of all the places we searched, Alabama felt the most like home.
So, after our wedding, we spoke with a realtor and she showed us a series of beautiful Huntsville Alabama Homes. We chose the one that felt like “us”. We could already see it filled with children, pets, and friends.
And that’s just about the way it worked out. It’s been twenty-five years and we have never regretted our early decision. Our children have attended college in the south and have all come home to raise their families.

Accounting is vital in any type of management – be it in business or in the household. It doesn’t need a rocket scientist to figure that out. No matter how big the business, there is still a great chance that it would need to control its expenses. Financial resources, among other things, are scarce and can only be as high in the figures on paper. It is almost the same thing with managing the household of an ordinary American family. There is no better way to illustrate the points above than in construction accounting. Construction entails a lot of considerations to those people involved in it. You have to think of the construction materials, wages of the workers, and as well as the constant flow of supplies and materials for construction.

It is Fall now, and the Canadian geese are migrating south. They come over my home for several weeks and they land in the harvested field by the thousands. Intense light will frighten them away but this new year has brought surprises for all of us.
My husband bought a variety of portfolio outdoor lighting for the garden areas and driveway of our home. He knows that I tend to enjoy a rich fantasy life so he bought some themed lighting such as a low voltage, frog, path light and a lizard on a leaf landscaping light. He also purchased a Zen gardener light and many lantern and branch lights. My favorites are those that hang from the trees and are solar powered !
This year, my husband and I drink hot tea out-of- doors and we see the geese just fine. A few of them have been interested in the lights and they have ventured a little closer to us this year. Perhaps, they too sense the peacefulness from this type of lighting. What a lovely idea !
