Which Wedding Cards Do You Enjoy?

Thinking back to the day that you were married, you probably remember many different things about your wedding. For many of us, it was a near perfect day and we were about as happy as we could possibly be. Did you save wedding cards from that special day? If you did, you probably have several favorite ones that you look at from time to time. It’s not really so much the way that these cards look but it is the things that are said on the inside. When you know that somebody sent a card from the heart, it really makes a difference.

Buying a House In A Down Economy

It’s time to buy a house, I think.  I’ve been browsing though Denver home mortgage sites to try to get myself pre-approved so I can get looking for a good place in the area.  I’m really hoping I can find something worthwhile here soon, as I want to buy while the prices and the interest rates are low.

It does feel a little weird to be buying a house in a down economy like this, but what can you do.  I have enough saved, and I think my job is secure enough that I should have any issues affording it.

Time is certainly running out quickly…

I thought I would get a lot more done today, but I have not. Not so far anyway. I think I will be up for a while working on these projects that I haven’t gotten to but that are vitally important anyway. Telling people about vision improvement is one of them.

It takes time to get it all to work out.  That is for sure.  I want so much for things to work better and more smoothly but that requires money.  It was easier as a single man, but alas, I am no longer single.  The financial burdens appear to increase when you have a family and spouse.  It is crazy, isn’t it?

My Favorite Ann Arbor Dog Boarding

Our energetic pup, Riley, needs much more exercise than the average dog.  When we leave her behind in Ann Arbor while we go on a trip, we need to be sure that we are leaving her in a place dedicated to providing her lots of attention and play time with humans and other dogs.  We found a great place that provides “doggie daycare” as well as boarding, and we knew we had a right match.  Riley loves when she has to opportunity to experience dog boarding in Ann Arbor, and she always comes home exhausted!  It’s wonderful!  Dog boarding in Ann Arbor offers many wonderful choices, and I am sure you can find the right fit for your dog.

Open Office Vs Microsoft Office

Recently in our Denver Computer Repair office we’ve made the transition from using Microsoft Office to using Open Office. We hired two new people, and when we saw that it was going to cost almost $1,000 to get Microsoft Office for the two new hires, we decided enough was enough.

Our transition to Open Office has gone pretty well. Open Office isn’t without it’s issues after all. Sometimes it crashes or doesn’t perform the way we think it should. But, all in all Open Office works almost as smoothly as Microsoft Office ever did.

The problem is that Microsoft Office is so expensive. Sure, we’d probably prefer to use the Microsoft Office 2007 version, but not at $400 per seat. In this economy you need to pinch pennies where you can. This happens to be a place where we decided to pinch pennies.

The awesome surfing trip my roommate is taking

Next week my roommate Kevin is going to South Africa to see some old friends and to do some surfing. He has surfed his whole life and takes it pretty seriously. One thing he will do is get a rental car. He asked me where he should go and I told him to type car rental South Africa into a search engine and see what comes up. I also told him the best way to travel is not using cash. Its best to get things paid up first and then use a visa debit card to make any additional purchases as needed.

You Get A Call From The Hospital And Wonder If Your Spouse Had The Proper Life Insurance

You get a late night call from a hospital telling you that your spouse has been in an accident and you need to come quick.  What are the ideas and thoughts running through your mind?

For one, are they OK?  Next, how could this happen?  Then you think about the worse thing possible.  What if they die?  What then?  This person has been your rock for years.  Your friend and partner.  What are you going to do without them and how will you get by?

Although this may not happen to you.  It can happen.  If you and your spouse or partner get life insurance there is no need to worry about “what if”.  Think about it and talk to your loved one.
