My mother called me tonight wanting to know if I had watched Oprah. I told her I did. I knew she would ask me about it, because she has been obsessed with my weight ever since the birth of my first child. I have three kids now and I had hoped she would have given up on me by now. I really didn’t want to hear her go on and on about Oprah and Acai Berries, but I knew she would be offended if I cut her off. I have told her several times that I’m not unhappy with my weight and neither is John, my husband. And she always says “But it’s just not health.” To shut her up, I promise to go online and check other sources about the Acai Berry.

I saw a sign at the subway that said “Beware of cell phone radiation levels, turn off cell phones while train is in motion.” I thought that was kind of weird and inconvenient to have to turn off your cell phone while at the subway. Why would they say something like that? I don’t know nor do I care. It just struck me funny. After I got off the subway I headed to the convenient store down the street to get me a coke and something to eat. The prices were really high at that store, but I bought something anyway.
