Actually when I get to wondering how much this stuff is worth I realize, selling old gold is easy and might mean a few bucks in my wallet. The fact I’ve been keeping the old broken bracelet since high school must mean I was destined to make a bundle off of it eventually, right?
I have always been way too much of a realist to fall for the TV ads that say they’ll give me a nice big check for this old stuff. Even though I need cash pretty bad lately, I just can not see myself doing that. Now I might take it in to check with several jewelers and let them tell me what it’s worth. After all, I do need the money more than the old gold.
