Classic movies retell good stories. The genre of Science Fiction frequently expresses the good verses evil core theme. One of my favorites is the Star Wars series by George Lucas. My children are also drawn to this series and enjoy Episode IV, the first movie released. So, how do you get people to read your articles? I was thinking of what to get my daughter when she graduated from middle school this year. I was thinking how silly middle school graduation is. Why are we celebrating half way? Shouldn’t we just be saying press forward onto high school and higher education? Anyways, I didn’t want her to feel bad; it wasn’t her fault the school district insisted on this funny ritual. I didn’t want to go to over the top with gifts, so I came up with a plan. I had this idea for gift baskets filled with all of her favorites since she started school almost nine years ago. These gift baskets would represent each year from Kindergarten through eighth grade. So maybe in the end it was a little over the top, but it sure brought back a lot of wonderful memories of the years she’d spent growing up into a fantastic daughter.
