I have an eighteen year old son, and he wants to get a tattoo. I don’t know how I feel about this. I really am not that against tattoos, but I want him to be able to get a good job after college. As long as he gets a small one somewhere that can be easily covered, I guess I won’t mind. But getting one somewhere like the lower arm or neck I would be against. But he is 18 so there is really not much I can do. Its not like I’m going to pull his school funding. Hopefully he will make a good decision.

This is the first time that I am going on a camp with my friends. I really am not usually permitted to go on a camping when I am not with my family. But then since I am old enough to go out with my friends, they are permitting us. Only my father has a condition that I should go and bring stunguns.Well, I was thinking that it will be great to have the camping stunguns indeed because we will never really know what animals would come there. Having the stunguns would protect us somehow and that would be really great.

Red yeast rice possesses cholesterol-reducing properties, but while the name is used as a generic terms, there are actually three major preparations, each possessing different properties.
The first is Zhitai, produced by fermenting a mixture of Monascus purpureus strains on whole grain rice and consists predominantly of rice. It has been found by Chinese scientist to reduce LDL cholesterol by 10% – 20%, total cholesterol by 10% to 30%, and triglycerides by 15% – 25%. It also increased HDL by around 7% – 15%.
Another preparation is Xuezhikang, and similar studies have indicated to have the same cholesterol-reducing properties as Zhitai. It is produced processing a mixture of alcohol, rice and red yeast to extract the majority of the rice gluten. The third preparation, Cholestin, otherwise known as Hypocol, is manufactured using specific read yeast strains and a particular process that results in the production of a substance known as monacolin K, better known to as lovastatin.
This is therefore one of the types that has been banned, so if you use red yeast rice, make sure that you do not use forms of Cholestin or Hypocol made from this red yeast or you would be breaking the law – at least in the USA.
Food grade red yeast rice legally sold in the USA is available at your local or internet health food store. Look for name brands like Doctors best, Solaray, and Natures plus to ensure quality and purity of the product you purchase.
