Driving Without Car Insurance
March 7th, 2008
Car insurance can be very expensive, especially if a driver is young, male and has points on their driving record. For this reason many decide to drive without car insurance, whether or not such an action is legal in their state. Yet, by doing such things, drivers put themselves at risk of having to pay a greater price should they get in an accident. If you’re lucky, getting in an accident without car insurance could result in a fine between $150 to $500. In other situations you could lose your driving privileges as well as your vehicle, (as it would get impounded). For very serious accidents, you would be responsible for medical expenses as well as expenses associated with the damaged vehicle.
So, think about all of these things the next time you decide to drive without car insurance. Remember, if car insurance is that much of a pain, you might want to consider looking for cheaper providers, which can be found through various forms of auto transport, or reconsider driving period.
