ford has been fervently involved for many years in Formula One which is production of racing engines and actively participation in racing. It has ceaselessly supplied racing engines to large number of participating teams from 1967 to 2004. Engines coming on racing track with badge of this company secured unprecedented successes by bagging 176 Grands Prix during period of 1967 to 2003. It is still an enviable record for any company. During this period, company’s name was one of the most trustworthy names with a bullet like production, outnumbering every other participants / contenders. Crosworth was a racing division under the umbrella and ownership of Ford which used to manufacture these engines from 1998 to 2008.
