Building Magazines Into A Brand New Media

Magazines or traditional print media have now gained the label of ‘awareness advertising’ for the masses. The thing is that magazine’s are not too happy with this situation at all.

The fact is that awareness or brand advertising does not always take a huge piece of the pie any more, especially when return on investment is such a huge priority for advertisers these days. Of course, there are exceptions when you look at quality lifestyle magazines with countless pages of perfume and fashion adverts, but these consumer titles are now the minority.

There is a now a case for Building Magazines into a new media by establishing resources and information online. If they are not going to take the majority of the ad spend any more, they need to supplement their income by offering online solutions to readers and advertisers alike.
