Displays As Works Of Art
November 10th, 2008
Uncle George made harnesses for horses in his little shop in Tennessee. Although the shop was about the size of a cottage, he made a small fortune with his one-of-a-kind custom show harnesses.
One of the reasons he had so many loyal customers was that each year he took his show on the road. He packed up his wares and his displays and attended horse shows all over the U.S.
His creative exhibition stands were custom made and were a primary reason people came over to him in during the shows. The displays had been carefully and artistically planned to show off his harnesses, brasses, and buckles like so many jewels.
People were always surprised at the artistic flair that had gone into these warm and beautiful exhibits.
Between George’s skill, great personality, and displays, I believe he was the most prosperous and happy business person I ever knew.
