For easy movement, use retractable banner stands

Trying to hold people’s attention is really a tough job. Ask me. I have been in this business (thanks to much participation in trade fairs) and the last thing which people want is being hounded by sales people. A subtle approach always works better and instead of screaming yourself hoarse let your designs do the talking and then, when the customer shows interest you can start explaining about your products. You can change directions of the stand to whichever way the customer wants and this gives a good impression.
