It is good to be aware of the various stages in the software testing lifecycle . The various stages in this lifecycle include the planning, executing, assessment and evaluation stage. Of course, one needs to remember that this can vary depending upon the kind of software that is being used and also on the end user of the software. Therefore the steps in the software testing lifecycle need to be adhered to religiously, if one is keen on having software that performs well without any problems. The software testing lifecycle involves various other smaller processes that are part of the main four processes mentioned earlier on.
