Making a profit with an ecommerce business is not that difficult, as long as you have a marketable product or service that people will always have a need for. Having a reliable product or service will prevent consumers from cutting that line item from the budget as money gets tight. The key to any successful ecommerce business, even when the economy is booming, is to find a need and fill it with what consumers want. Something that is reasonably priced, based on the value that potential buyers place on the product or service. So, do not fret if you see a slight decrease in sales.
