If you are considering hiring somebody to work for you, I would strongly urge you to search public records and make sure what you see on a resume and in an interview are really what you are getting. I know several business owners who have hired people without doing their research and got burned bad. There is no hiding from the law and once you have been convicted, the information is out there for anyone to see. Protecting your business from people who you may not want representing your company is very important. Use the internet to check people out. You will be glad you did.
