With advances in the internet a lot of courts have online record searches that make it is easy to find criminal records. You can usually use a search engine and search for your county clerk of courts Web-site. Once you find the Web-site you look for a link to online criminal records or sometimes it will say official record search. As long as you know the person’s full name you can conduct a name search. If you are looking for general criminal records you can usually pull them by date of offense. The only drawback to online record searches is sometimes you can only see what crime they were charged with and no real case information. Sometimes you will have to pay a nominal fee to get official documents according to a criminal record.
