There Was A Lesson In My Free Credit Report

When I graduated from college I was able to land a good job and start to work almost immediately. I owed money on my student loans but that was the only debt that I had. I knew people that had decided not to pay back their loans but I never missed a payment on mine. A few years after college I applied for a free credit report to see how I was doing. Although I still owed a substantial amount on my student loan, the score was high because I have been faithful in my payments. That was a good lesson for me about credit.
