What makes back links valuable?

The value in getting backlinks for your websiteis determined by several key factors. First of all the source of the back link is determined as valuable or not valuable depending on the ranking of the site. These sites are called “authority” sites because they are seen as valuable sites in search engine eyes. It is important to have alot of valuable back links coming from authority sites, as well as having a natural flow of new back links being created all the time. If your back links flood in and new ones don’t happen search engines will see this as your site losing popularity.
