Fort at 4 in Charlestown

Fort at 4, Charlestown, NHThe Fort at 4 in Charlestown, NH presents visitors with a unique opportunity to experience life in a gated British settlement of the 1700s. This recreated fortified village features buildings and structures that were walled in for protection against French and Indian aggressors. Costumed interpreters and fascinating exhibits provide information about members of this community, the history of the 18th century, and historic events that shaped the future of the colonies.  There are two types of residence buildings to tour at the Fort at 4. The Houses represent permanent dwellings where families resided, while simpler lean-tos were designed as temporary accommodations. The Houses and lean-tos at the Fort at 4 feature themed exhibits as well as information about the people who inhabited each building. In addition to Houses and lean-tos, visitors can also tour the Watch Tower and the Great Chamber entrance to the Fort. Stockades, the Fort’s sallyport, soldiers’ barracks and other structures help create the village’s authentic appearance. There are several hands-on exhibits at the Fort, and live demonstrations of 1700s crafts and trades are given daily. There are also a variety of special events, workshops and programs scheduled at the Fort at 4 throughout the summer season.

I have recently come across a groovy training centre offering smashing value Salsa Dance Lessons. They offer many levels of technique, and their prices start from as little as £6.00 per person.Looks like a cracking idea to me, and its a place I want to commend to my family and pals, as I have found myself a new lease of life, as well as a few new pals.Get yourself to the factory gymnasium, and you too can be dancing the weight off and having a peachy time too.I’ll see you there - I’ll be the slight dame.

Step it up

Ok, so I’m going to tell a funny story. When the movie Step Up came out I was dying to see it. But with the price of movies constantly going up, I was never able to do so. So when I discovered that one of my good friends owned this film I became very excited. I brought the movie home, set aside all other plans and plopped myself down in front of my TV with some popcorn and a soda. See the way I work is that when I watch something that gets me excited like American Idol or movies that feature dance like Step Up, I tend to want to get up and do what the actors are doing. When the movie finished I was in this incredible mood that made me believe with all my heart that I could dance and that was exactly what I did. I was jumping and spinning, and rolling on the floor. If you can imagine a move, I attempted it. But this gets me to wondering if other people do the same thing I do. Do teens that are into dance push all the furniture out of the way, change into their teen dancewear and then go to town like me? Boy I sure hope so. Otherwise, I might possibly be the biggest dork in the world. But you know what? That’s quite all right with me!

Diana

I have a girlfriend who is really in to tattoos. She has been collecting them for as long as I have known her. In fact, her husband is quite inked as well. A recent tattoo that she added to her collection was a set of butterfly tattoos on her hip. These butterflies are all different in wingspan and color but each one is beautiful and grand. She got the butterflies to match some of her fairies and dragons that she has nestled against her lower back. I think that her tattoo artwork tell a beautiful story of dreams and magic.

Express yourself and learn how to sketch

One of the best ways to express yourself (it is said by many) is to learn how to sketch as we are able to put out a side of ourselves in no other ways that we could do otherwise. There are many online classes and even evening training schools which specialise in teaching, coaching and training people how to to sketch. If this is a pastime that you fancy getting into, take some time to search out the best school in your area and then enjoy the journey that you will encounter when you learn how to sketch.

Looking

I have been looking for a good photo editing program for a while but how do I know which is the best one. I hear that Adobe Photoshop Cs2 lots of nice features but probably more than I will ever use. I would love to get temporary use of it to see how easy it is to use and how many of its features I would actually use. One guy told me is designed with professionals in mind but is easy enough for armatures to learn and get lots of use from. If anyone can tell me where I might be able to download a copy to use for a few days on a test run I would appreciate it.

What are faeries?

With all of the interest in faeries today, people seldom ask the most basic question -what exactly are faeries? Many believe they are completely imaginary, of course. It’s hard to convince a diehard skeptic of anything! Others believe that they are elementals who live in the astral realm. A related idea is that they are nature spirits who are attached to specific plants, flowers and trees. Most who have researched this field say that there are many kinds of faeries, varying in shapes, sizes, personalities and powers. So, the word "faeries" may be a rather general description, a bit like "animals" that covers a wide variety of beings. If you even believe in them, that is!
