Saturday my wife and I went to downtown to eat at Blue Plate and do some shopping. We also seen a movie which was so awesome. I thought I’d like it but it was better than I thought it was gonna be. Yesterday, after grinding coffee beans from our maestro Grinder for our morning coffee, we worked in the yard. Finally got the grass cut, it was beginning to look like a jungle. And I cut off some trimmings of a bunch of stuff trying to root them. I was successful once, anxious to see if I can do it again. I watched Sleepy Hollow while after all the work I’ve done. Yes, for the first time. I also realized it’s 10 years old. It was good, kind of creepy though.

The town’s most popular local cafe was having a logo and poster making contest. They needed a new look and they were going to hold a poster making contest. The deadline of entries was in 5 days and Remy decided to join the contest, not for the prize which was a Lavazza espresso machine, but because he had a crush on the owner’s daughter. He thought that if he joined and if he won, the girl would notice him and they would get to talk and maybe he would even ask her out. His poster design featured the lavazza espresso machine the cafe used together with a cup of coffee.

I have a grandmother who loves to burn candles. I think that in the 26 years that I have been alive I have seen my grandmother maybe 2 times when candles were not burning in the house. That is a lot of candles, and a lot of burning. I think it’s great that she does it, not only for her enjoyment, but it makes a great gift idea. Each year I try to get her something a little more unique than the year before. This year I went online and found some great smelling soy candles that she is going to love.

I have worked as a Registered Nurse for many years, and finally the long hours, lack of appreciation and overload of federal and insurance regulations got the best of me. I was not sure which way to go until I discovered that I could get a fitness certification. I am now able to utilize my nursing skills and knowledge with my fitness training, and it is so rewarding to know that I can treat the entire person. Of course, that does not mean that my mother listens to me, but there are just some people who do not take the advice of experts, and some things that will never change!
