I’m a commuter. I drive fifty miles a day back and forth to work and with the cost of gas it’s costly! I keep hearing about discount fuel cards but don’t know much about them. I’m wondering if they are something that would help me save some money. I need to do something because I’m not getting my bonus this year and my wife thinks she might be laid off from her job. I have to find some way to cut back my expenses and I thought this might be a solution. I just need to know more about them.

But if I’m not God, who is? Let’s attempt to answer this question by examining the claims of other avatars such as Lord Krishna and Jesus. I don’t know much about Krishna, so I’ll focus on Jesus. Actually I don’t know much about Jesus either, but more Christians will undoubtedly read this than Hindus, and I want to be sure to offend the largest possible number of readers.
Now, don’t get me wrong. I think Christianity is a swell religion. It’s got a well developed moral code, a charismatic leader with a divine aura and a profound spiritual message, and, to Christianity’s credit, (unlike a certain other religion which shall remain nameless) it’s been hundreds of years since Christians have indulged in the wholesale slaughter of non-believers. Moreover Christianity has been remarkably successful at getting millions of people worldwide to attend Church each Sunday to repent for the sins they committed the night before.
But there’s one thing about Christianity I don’t like, at least, i.e., in the brand of Christianity taught in many churches. The central tenet, according to what is apparently the lion’s share of preachers, is that to achieve eternal salvation, you must have faith, faith being defined as the singular belief that Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of God. And if you believe this doctrine, then, in this view, you will be rewarded in the afterlife with a place in heaven. But if you don’t believe this doctrine you will spend the hereafter in hell.
