bargain internet

It would appear that the government of Australia really wants its citizens to be connected. With the assistance of Harbour Satellite, one of many satellite internet providers, they have developed an affordable plan for every Australian household to have affordable internet access. In the United States, if someone wishes to connect to the internet by satellite, they can expect to pay between $200-$500 for the satellite modem and installation, plus an additional $50-$100 a month for a subscription fee. On the other hand, any eligible person in Australia can fill an online application, get free installation and only pay $10 a month subscription fee.

CD-ROMs an effective medium for promotional material

CD-ROM’s can be an effective medium to use in a complicated products that will need a lot of promotional material. CD-ROMs are particularly flexible to use as they can include multimedia production for video, audio, brochures, documents and website/email links. And they are also perfect for travelers who wish to reduce the amount of marketing materials they need to carry. There are CD-ROMs that are mini and business cards CDROMs which comes in a different kinds of sizes and shapes that can be made to suit a clients campaign. An example for this is that they can be cut into a flower shape for a campaign for a seed producer. The only disadvantage about it is that it is small in size and they are unable to hold lots of content, unlike the regular sized CD-ROMs.

A Speedier PC is Just More Fun

If you have always used slow computers, you have no idea how much more fun it is to surf the Net or use programs on a fast computer.

I found this out the hard way, when I bought a small computer years ago. The salesman told me it was blazing fast with 64 mg of memory. I believed him.

Between the memory and the many programs I downloaded, soon it seemed all I did was wait for the computer.

But I did some research and found I could add memory. After doing that I looked for the Best Registry Cleaner and ran it.

In no time my little PC was humming along and I was officially spoiled. Never again would I tolerate a slow computer.

Web site

I just realized that anyone can have a business website. I know I am behind the curve a ways. Okay I cannot even see the curve. Anyway I have just been selling my baskets to local stores around the area. Then I realized I could ship large quantities all around Texas and maybe even the world. Okay I am getting ahead of myself and daydreaming a little bit. So I priced around on the website, I knew I could not do it by myself. I really liked this St. Petersburg Web Design and Web Development. They let me customize my web page.

My phone was ringing off the hook from a number I did not recognize.

I wonder sometimes if any of us has never experienced the oh so annoying phone calls from numbers we do not recognize. I know I get these calls, and I do not let them slip by without finding out who is calling.

I feel I cannot be too careful these days, so I want the scoop on who is calling me. I first make sure I find out if it is from a land line, or cell phone number. If it is a cell phone number calling my phone, I do a reverse cell search to discover where the number originates.  Sometimes, I can get the name of the person or company calling me.  Other times, if I want more information than the state of the caller, I will pay to find out who it is.

It certainly makes me feel more safe and secure to have this tool handy.

Silent Hill

Silent Hill won’t be making a homecoming yet in Europe. The game has been delayed until February of 2009. We’re not really sure why its been delayed for so long, but the theory is that it may be due to translations. Personally, I think it might be due to the mixed reviews(PS3 News reports an average of 72%. Christmas season presents a lot of great choices for gamers so they probably won’t want to buy a second rate game. Come Feb however, chances are gamers have already finished most of their games and are eager to try something new, even if it isn’t quite as well reviewed.

Take Your Music Anywhere with the Nokia 6300

If you want a sleek, sophisticated mobile phone, the Silver Nokia 6300 is probably the design for you.  It has stainless steel covers that give it an extremely modern look.  It offers a 2.0 megapixel camera and the MP3 player which I happen to love.  With the stereo Bluetooth, FM stereo radio and the MP3 you can have music anywhere you want to go, and it can be your music, not just the radio!  I love having mine along when I go for my walks every evening.  I take a phone through the park anyhow, but having my music with me while I have the safety of a mobile phone is really important to me.

How much would you pay for this information?

A lot of people spend their real hard earned money on online “imaginary” things. One of the big bought items is gold for MMO’s. It just astonishes me the amazing amounts of money people throw down for in-game currency. I cant lie i personally have bought gold, but I found an ever better way to invest my money. I buy guides that teach me how to do what the gold sellers do. I found a   Warcraft Riches Review that helped me to find a bunch of ways to make gold inside the game without even playing. This guide was easily the best $37 I have ever spent.

New Chips Poised to Revolutionize Photography, Film

For the first time, professional-grade single-lens reflex cameras are gaining the ability to record high-definition video. That capability, photographers say, has the potential to transform both still photography and moviemaking — and it’s largely thanks to advances in the semiconductor technology used to make the image sensors inside these cameras.

“I think this is the holy grail for news photography,” says Randall Greenwell, the director of photography for the Virginian-Pilot, a newspaper in Virginia.

HDMI Deals says photojournalists are already shooting both stills and video, but using separate equipment for each medium, which is awkward, cumbersome and requires additional training. With a single camera that can do both stills and video, he says, the job of the new-media journalist will be greatly simplified.

“With that kind of flexibility, it’s going to be a real game changer,” Greenwell says.

While compact digital cameras have had video-recording capabilities for years, the image quality provided by these cameras has been disappointing because of their small image sensors and comparatively poor, miniaturized optics. High-end video and movie cameras produce top-notch HD video and their interchangeable lenses give filmmakers the creative control they crave, but the cameras are big and expensive. Even the RED ONE, a super-high-definition movie camera that records digital video that’s comparable in quality to that of film stock, rings up at about $17,000. That’s a bargain compared to movie cameras, but it’s still a lot of dough for most people.

By contrast, the 21-megapixel Canon 5D Mark II, which shoots 1080p HD video, will cost $2,700 (plus the cost of lenses) when it becomes available later this year. The 12-megapixel, highly rated Nikon D90, which records 720p HD video and is available now, costs even less: a mere $1,300 gets you the body plus a basic zoom lens.

Try Spyware Doctor

I have been through a number of anti spyware and anti virus programs, and the one that I currently have on my computer is Spyware Doctor. Personally, I love it. I let it run itself and pretty much just let the program be on my computer. But, before I purchased Spyware Doctor, I made sure that I read a Spyware Doctor review so that I knew what I was getting. I think this is the best way to protect my computer because I would be lost if I lost any of the pictures and information saved on my computer. It is not only a personal computer, but a work computer, which is why I trust Spyware Doctor with my computer.

Real visual voicemail for the iPhone

A great feature that the iPhone is known for is its Visual Voicemail. However, PhoneTag is now offering its new service that is sure to please iPhone users even more. SlashGear recently tested the service on an iPhone 3G, and they were very impressed says Zune Car Charger. The PhoneTag service makes it so your voicemails are forward to their system to be transcribed into text to be sent to you via SMS or email. This way you can read your voicemails at your own convenience. The system was rather accurate and only really had trouble with unusual names or when a lot of wind noise interfered with the recording. This seems like a feature that all smart phones should use in the future.
