I find myself using the Internet all time for information on a specific place that I am looking to stay at. I needed to get a listing of motels in portland oregon, and I was able to find them by doing a general search for them. When my husband and I were trying to decide where to go on vacation this year, I remembered the great Iceland tours that my grandparents had taken a few years back. I mentioned this to my husband and told him about their experiences. I even had a few photos of my grandparents while on these tours. Iceland is one of the most beautiful places in the world. I am sure that my husband and I would enjoy this type of trip.

This year I’m going on one of the Lanzarote holidays that my friends keep telling me about. I have always thought the Canaries were a bit far to go for lots of tourist resorts and other Brits out on the lash. However, with regular flights from the UK and lots of landscape to take in as well as sun, sea and sand, I’ve decided it’s a great place to spend my summer holidays. One great thing about Lanzarote (other than the interesting volcanic terrain) is the sea life. I hear if you’re lucky you can even catch some dolphins and whales! Another thing I’m dying to try is a helicopter tour of the island.

We were told that when we stayed at hotels in Side Turkey we simply had to check out the Aspendos Bridge and make the trip in the evening when the bridge would be all lit up. It was certainly a really photogenic site and I started snapping away. The bridge leads to Aspendos Amphitheatre and there are some steps on the route so make sure you take care – particularly in the dark. We visited the bridge again in the daytime with our a holiday guide as part of an excursion and we were impressed by his knowledge he seemed to know everything about this monument.
