What I love about taking a vacation near Hilton Head, in Bluffton, SC

If you were to ask me what I love the most about taking a vacation besides the obvious, I would tell you it is checking out the local scene, and eating at the hometown restaurants. My hubby and I try to go to a different vacation location every year. Well, every six months since we are semi-retired. Our last trip was to Bluffton SC. We chose that location as it is close to Hilton Head, and loaded with old fashioned charm and quaint buildings. We always try to get to know a few people before we eat out, so we can get an inside view of the local restaurants. That is my favorite thing to do, and we make friends everywhere we go.

How much do timeshares cost

There are many expenses to shared vacation living that are often glossed over by the salespeople.  What are your maintenance fees each month and how are they billed.  Will you have to pay housekeeping fees each time you stay?   Does the location(s) where your timeshare is located consider it a hotel and levy a tax on you each time you stay.  Until you have paid off your shares you will have a monthly charge for your timeshares.  Make sure if you finance it,  that the interest rate is fixed and will not go up on you.   Know what it will cost before you spend more than can afford.

Advisable Plans to Buy Timeshare

You can very well go online and look for affordable auctions among various resellers of timeshares.  You don’t have to worry too much if you are in the process of buying timeshare properties.  Buying a timeshare is a good buy if you start planning your vacation well in advance of your travel dates.  You should allot at least 11 months ahead or longer in preparation when trying to buy timeshare.    Most timeshares these days are offered as floating weeks or ownership is based upon points and as an owner you will have a priority booking window for your reservation.Try to make note also of the suggestions by experts on how to buy timeshare.  Consider where you want to vacation, or if you want to go to the same place every year at the same time of year, or you like to go vacation during different seasons of the year.  After that, check out the points programs or timeshare programs that have lots of properties and let you use all of them.  Finally, after considering that timeshare is suited for your need, consider price ranges.  The timeshare that is going to be a good buy for you is one that fits your travel criteria and sells for the right price.

Over The Road Truck Driving: The Perfect Job?

Let’s face it.  We all want to succeed, but not everyone is a “cubicle dweller” who is happy with a nine-to-five job.

A lot of people enjoy being their own boss, controlling their own schedule, and having the freedom the move from place to place, enjoying different cities and towns.

For these people, truck driving might be the right answer.  Driving over-the-road means avoiding the boredom of going to the office and the pay can be excellent.

And, even in today’s uncertain economy, truck driving employment offers the chance for steady work and good pay.   Some companies which are currently hiring will also help drivers to buy their own trucks and become owner-operators.

Life on the road can be a great lifestyle for someone looking for a challenging, interesting job that pays well.

Getting to Las Vegas

Searching for Las Vegas flights can be a daunting task given the many choices we have. The easiest method of searching for flights is to go online and surf the world wide web for the best sites. Here you have some options. You can search by going to the website of each individual airline, or by utilizing a travel site. If you begin by looking at the individual airlines, be sure to check if they in fact fly in and out of Las Vegas. If you prefer to compare the airline’s prices on one site, using a travel site will save you time and often a lot of money.

Cottages in Holmes County

My family and I have an interesting trip coming up.  While trying to think of somewhere new and different to go for our next weekend getaway, we came across some nice cottages in Amish country.  Holmes County is home to the Amish community in Ohio, and we thought it would make for an exciting trip.  The cottages look very well maintained and you can book them on-line in advance and they’re easily located to surrounding events and local attractions.  It may not be a trip for everyone, but I think it’s exciting seeing something new and different and having the chance to experience a different way of life.
