Don’t fight an infection

My dad is pretty stubborn when it comes to getting medical help. He is not the hospital type. He had some skin irritations that were not going away. He said it was just from working around the house. When they started to turn into boils, I told him if he didn’t call the doctor, I was. Well, he said he was going to call, but he kept putting it off. Pretty soon he was running a fever. I had enough. I called the nurse, and gave her his symptoms. She said it sounded like a Mercer infection, and we needed to get him to the hospital fast.
