Many people think that it is not possible for you to tone one particular area of the body and not to tone other areas at the same time. Although this may be true to a certain extent, many people use exercises for Pilates for that exact reason. Pilates uses the core of the body in order to exercise the rest of the body by using specific exercises. It is a very effective way for you to build up muscle and to tone the body by doing very specific and controlled exercises over the course of time. It may take a little bit of time to recognize results but results will come.
