Fake laughter and stress
August 6th, 2008
Sometimes fake laughter by making the sounds of laughter and moving your body as you laugh can help reduce the effects of stress. Your body will benefit and your perspective will change. If you do it enough, real laughter will kick in. Then you’ll stop feeling stupid, or better still will stop caring. Due to a variety of socio-economic conditions, stress has now become more widely recognised by both individuals and employers. Some people can be driven to stress eat and on the other hand some people can’t manage to eat anything when faced with the pressures of stress. Practice laughing so you can laugh when you need it most. Have you ever looked into the mirror made a face and laughed at yourself?
