Lose weight fast with extra protein

A few years ago my husband decided to lose some extra pounds he was carrying. Talk about lose weight fast! I do not understand how men are able to lose so quickly. He basically cut his carbs down to very lillte and increased his lean proteins and voila…weight loss! I have to admit it was so easy cooking a piece of chicken and some frozen veggies for dinner. That was all he would eat most of the time or I’d add some rice or potato a few times a week. But the added protein really was key for him reaching his weight loss goals.
