Morning Breath and Bad Breath Cure

January 9th, 2008

Have you ever wondered what causes morning breath giving you a need for bad breath cure?  Even the term morning breath does not make you think of pleasant thoughts.  You know as soon as you read ‘morning breath’ that I’m speaking about an unpleasant smell.  I’m sure about 99% of the population wakes up with foul smelling breath every morning.  What causes it?  You’d be surprised to know that it’s actually caused by a lack of saliva.  During sleep, our saliva production by the salivary glands is almost completely shut down.  Without saliva to help fight the bacteria in your mouth, the bacteria grow and bad breath ensues.  For most people, this breath is easily improved during their morning ritual.  Those who suffer from chronic bad breath may require more work to improve their breath.
