Plastic Surgery After Care Takes More than a Few Hours

Plastic surgery generally lasts about three to four hours but you will spend a lot longer in plastic surgery after care than you do in the surgery itself. Many patients think that once the surgery is over, they will be up and about and able to do whatever they want. The truth is that the real outcome of the surgery will depend on how well you take care of yourself afterward. Patients usually have the option of either going home or staying in the hospital for up to a week. But staying in the hospital can really be boring and very, very expensive. So if you decide to go home, just be sure to follow the explicit instructions of the surgeon and everything will work out fine.
