There are several key ingredients that are often used to battle acne. The most popular that many brands use is benzoyl peroxide. It’s a popular chemical that will treat acne, and usually works well. How ever a side effect is that it will often also dry out and damage your skin. Now I wasn’t aware of this until reading a recent acne product review but there are alternative substances that will work to cure acne without all the drying out. Salicylic Acid is a popular alternative used by some of the top acne treatment brands online. It does as good of a job as products using Benzoyl how ever without the harsh side effects.
