Why Is Water Important For Us Human Beings
March 30th, 2008
Every day a person loses water through their breath, perspiration, urine and bowel movements. For a human being’s body to function properly, one must replenish its water supply by consuming beverages and foods that contain water. Failing to take in more water than your body uses can lead to dehydration. Even mild dehydration, as little as a 1 percent to 2 percent loss of your body weight, can sap your energy and make you tired. Common causes of dehydration include strenuous activity, excessive sweating, vomiting and diarrhea. Dehydration is something that we must prevent because it is not good for our body. This is primarily the answer to the question “why is water important for us?”
