Humidifiers — 2 basic types

Did you know that there are a multitude of different humidifier manufacturers — each of them offering different features and capabilities? But despite all of these different types of models, all humidifiers can be placed in one of two different groups: whole house units and stand-alone units. Standalone models are designed to humidify the air in a particular location, while whole house models will humidify the air in an entire home club office building, or other facility. Of course, in order to use one of the whole House models, it will have to be connected up to some sort of ductwork system in order to be able to circulate the air.
