Philips Plasma TV’s Are Still on the Market

Though Dutch electronics manufacturer Philips is now concentrating more on liquid crystal display (LCD) televisions, Philips plasma TV’s are still available for consumers. The 50-inch Philips 50PFP5332D/37 and 42-inch 42PFP5332D/37 widescreen flat televisions can be purchased online through the Philips website or at retail stores.
These two Philips plasma screens share a number of features, such as Pixel Plus 3 HD technology, which provides sharp, vividly colored and smoothly moving images. They incorporate an HDTV tuner for receiving cable and digital TV signals. A dynamic contrast enhancer delivers deep black details, an important aspect of the HDTV experience. Sound is guaranteed to be of cinematic quality with the Virtual Dolby Surround System.
The Philips 50-inch plasma TV and 42-inch plasma TV are priced at US$1,749.99 and $1,199 respectively on the Philips website.
