An important tip that every dog owner that is expecting a new baby need to know is to do some dog training prior to the arrival of the new family member. If the dog has never been trained it is imperative to teach the dog the basics of dog training, like sit, stay, leave it and wait. It is also important to train your dog to recognize the baby’s noise. An effective way to do this, prior to the baby’s arrival, is by getting a tape that has been recorded with baby’s noise and play it for the dog so he becomes familiar with the sounds. This will make it easier for your dog to accept the baby when he finally arrives to his new home.
