Maximize Your Stay With Bargain Timeshare Points

January 3rd, 2008

Timeshares are beginning to use a variable point system similar to the way that a hotel might charge more for a weekend stay than they would for a midweek stay. For example, the Las Vegas Hilton charges $200 per night for a weekend night. The same room on a midweek night is $169 per night. Timeshares that use a point system work in the same fashion. A weekend stay at a fashionable timeshare might cost you 200 points per night while a midweek stay may only set you back 60 points per night. So you could stay more nights during the week if you skip the weekend. We use this strategy to spend more time on vacation by booking our stays at timeshare from Monday through Friday instead of over the weekend.
