Local telephone companies are allowed to charge business customers that have different kinds of lines more than one long-term telephone number portability charge per line. Local telephone companies are responsible for the outside lines leading to your home for a reverse phone scan. Telephone companies are already there, and the company that is there first gets the customer’s business. Both cable and telephone companies are deploying new technologies to residential consumers which can dramatically increase network bandwidth and functionality to levels reserved until just recently for very large commercial customers.
