The “fit issue” of barrel racing saddles.

Selecting a saddle for barrel racing is quite a chore. There are so many issues when looking at Barrel Racing Saddles. There are many brands out there and many people have opinions on brand names. It is difficult to know what to buy. I know you have to be concerned about yor horse’s body size. You do not want a saddle that will leave sores. Extra padding is an issue too. I have always heard to get a saddle with extra padding when barrel racing. You also have to be concerned about the seat fit. Because you want to feel “tight” in the saddle it is important to try them out.
