Maintaining Your Windows PC
April 17th, 2008
It’s important to maintain your Windows PC to help prevent any problems that might arise from the general use of your system. The Windows operating system is prone to corruption and clutter from a variety of sources. Suprisingly one of the most common causes of this is the dynamic use of the operating system. This means the frequent change of software, hardware, and other settings.
Sometimes files in the registry get left behind by incomplete uninstalltion processes when you remove software and hardware. These can cause runtime errors and other problems, especially if you were trying to update a driver. Sometimes registry files can clash with each other, especially if they were for the same program.
The best way to fix runtime errors is to buy a good registry cleaner program such as RegCure by ParetoLogic software. This is one of the best programs you can get, and I highly recommend it.
I use RegCure at home and it’s helped me speed up my slow laptop quite a bit, especially during the boot sequence.
