Old Luggage Keeps Her Dry

There are several things on my list of needs, but I cannot spend too much money on them. So, I have been trying to hit the yard sales on weekends. I have been looking for some cheap luggage. My daughter recently went to summer camp and she needed a way to haul her belongings there and back, and I really did not want to send along my better pieces of luggage that I like to travel with. I was able to find a nice suitcase of the hard sided variety that was popular in the sixties and seventies. Even though it was heavy and a little awkward, she told me one night when it rained a little water came under the tent and her stuff stayed dry, while others belongings got wet. Sometimes old and cheap beats out new and expensive is ways we don’t think about.
